Innovation Award from EASPD for 2023! 740 500 Enabling Website e-Νable Greece

In November, Thanasis Mitzifiris from E-Nable Greece presented the innovative practice of transforming fairytales into tactile images using 3D printing for visually impaired students.

At E-Nable Greece, we don’t just create accessible images for people with visual impairments. We also engage with their families and teachers, educating them about the use of technology and how it can enhance their daily lives.

It was a great honor for our team to receive this award during the International Conference in Helsinki, reaffirming our commitment to greater accessibility and inclusion.

A heartfelt thank you to the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, which supported this initiative twice (Points of Support 2020 and a separate funding in 2022), as well as the educators and beneficiaries of AMIMONI for their invaluable feedback on our results over time.

We will continue to approach education and accessibility innovatively, embracing diversity with all our strength.
