As part of the NTUA Open Labs, the Applied Thermodynamics Lab of the School of Mechanical Engineering organized the Kids Lab Day!
🔹 In collaboration with the 3D Energy Hub and with the sponsorship of e-Nable Greece, providing materials, designs, and training, children aged 10-13 years old were introduced to the world of 3D printing and social contribution.
🔹 They experienced all the stages of creating a 3D-printed mechanical hand:
✅ Design & dimensioning
✅ Printing & assembly
✅ Mechanical function adjustment
🔹 Using designs from the global e-Nable community, they assembled the Flexi Hand 2 and took home their very own 3D-printed hand as a keepsake!
This initiative brought children closer to technology and inclusion, showing them how innovation can change lives!
